Some New Side Gigs

I need some new side gigs!

I am sort of scraping by, but I have decided that a big part of taking control of my work life is also going to mean taking serious control of my financial life. Therefore, I need to pay off some debt. It’s not crazy, but I was in grad school, and things add up (plane tickets, suits for interviews, shoes, shoes, plane tickets, and shoes).

I had a “second” job this summer, which was really fun, and then I saw this article on LifeHacker about extra work for extra cash.

I need a new second job! Babysitting, grant writing, and other online writing are all things that I would love to do. Additionally, if you have a wine shop or flower shop, I would be happy to work in it. I am also an excellent dog and cat sitter.

Guys, this hustle is on.

  1. I think this is wise! Getting a side job, especially something you enjoy. Good luck on the search!
